Wedding Details
We are getting married January 2nd, 2010 at 6:30pm at Culbertson West in New Albany, Indiana. The wedding and reception are in the same place and we will be having a Jewish ceremony with some Christian elements mixed in. Rabbi Gaylia Rooks will be marrying us.
New Albany is just a few minutes across the river from Louisville. The Culbertson West mansion was built in 1886 by William S. Culbertson, Indiana’s
wealthiest businessman and philanthropist. Culbertson West is next door to the famed Culbertson Mansion and was a wedding gift to his son Samuel.
The Culbertson West mansion is also the birthplace of Samuel and Louise Culbertson’s two sons, known as “The Little Knights of Kentucky” in the world-famous story books and movie.
Our wedding colors are black, white, and yellow.
