I ordered my dress today and it will get here in 2-3 months. I’m so excited, I want it NOW!! I want to wear it every day around the apartment to get my money’s worth. I’m totally going to bust it out once a year after the wedding and wear it around put it to good use. Or go jump in a lake or roll in the mud in it – because I can.
We also ordered the Save the Date postcards and they’ll be here in a couple weeks. Our guest list has been edited and we have 90% off the addresses we need so they’ll be going out soon after we get them. They are super cute – I designed them myself!
I also found a cute centerpiece I am thinking about making. Since I’m not a big fan of flowers, I think it would be a really nice (and cheap) alternative. Since getting fresh flowers in bloom in January may be a problem on our budget, I really like this idea. And I’ve been saving pickle jars for a year thinking I’d use them somehow at the wedding! I may try it soon – or have Ben do it since he has so much more free time now that his schedule changed. He needs a hobby!
We’re less than 200 days away so its getting to crunch time.
