Less than 7 months from right now I will be Mrs. Ben Goldenberg!
Ben and I had a fantastic few days away from Louisville last weekend when we headed north for my cousin Stevie’s wedding. I have to say, its gonna be a tough one to beat. The DJ was great, the top shelf bar had everyone dancing, and we stayed til the last song! We got some good ideas and hopefully we’ll be able to use them at our own wedding.
On our way home, we stopped in Muncie and saw some friends from college and then ventured to Indy and had dinner with Ben’s cousin Jason. We got to see his knew house and find out all about baby James who is coming in August — he’ll be at the wedding too!
Now that Ben and I are both working regularly, have fully moved into the new place, and are starting to settle into everything, its time to get back into wedding planning. I contacted the DJ today and we should be checking them out in action this weekend. I’ve started designing Save the Date cards and we plan to get those out in the next couple weeks. We may be contacting you soon to find out addresses we don’t know!
A couple weeks ago the Goldenbergs stopped by and we tried out a few rehearsal dinner locations. We’ve picked one and are working on picking our menu – so many tasty options! Also coming up is ordering my dress, shopping for bridesmaid dresses, figuring out invitations, decorations, and CAKE or NO CAKE dillemna.
